Alert Rules are what you can use to determine when/where you wanted to be notified when an error happens in a specific project. By default Sentry notifies you by email when 'an event is first seen'.
Navigating to your Alert Rules:
- Click on Project Settings
- Go to Alerts
- Select the Rules tab to see existing rules
- Create a new rule by clicking New Alert Rule
In order to get notifications sent to other services besides email you need to set up the integration before creating the alert rule.
