What are some ways I can control the event volume for my organization?
There are a couple things you can do to help ensure you’re seeing relevant events without quickly exhausting your quota:
- Within the SDK you can reduce the data volume you’re sending. All SDKs provide some mechanism to override if an event should send. Please consult the documentation for your SDK for more information on how to configure this.
- Turn on inbound data filters for legacy browsers, browser extensions, localhost, and web crawlers. Any filtered events will not count towards your quota.

×Who we collect PII from
We collect PII about people browsing our website, users of the Sentry service, prospective customers, and people who otherwise interact with us.
What if my PII is included in data sent to Sentry by a Sentry customer (e.g., someone using Sentry to monitor their app)? In this case you have to contact the Sentry customer (e.g., the maker of the app). We do not control the data that is sent to us through the Sentry service for the purposes of application monitoring.
